A family workshop at the Musée de l'Homme in Paris where participants discover the tools, techniques, and artistic styles of prehistoric cave painters. Led by a museum mediator, parents and children learn about parietal and rock art, practise scientific drawing methods, and create their own Paleolithic-style artwork using natural pigments. Sessions run 1.5 hours throughout July and on select Saturdays in September at the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle.

Inaugurated in 1938, the Musée de l'Homme is a museum of the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle, located in the Passy wing of the Palais de Chaillot in Paris. It focuses on the evolution of humans and human societies, combining biological, social, and cultural approaches. Reconfigured in 2015, the museum houses collections of prehistory, biological and cultural anthropology, and serves as a centre for research, higher education, and the dissemination of knowledge. Its permanent exhibition tackles three major themes—who are we, where do we come from, and where are we headed—and features priceless collections including Cro-Magnon fossils, the Palaeolithic Venus of Lespugue, and wax anatomical models among the world's finest.
