A guided visit to the Sierra de Atapuerca archaeological complex organized by the Museo de la Evolución Humana in Burgos, including exploration of one of the caves at this UNESCO World Heritage site. The Territorio Atapuerca experience lasts approximately two and a half hours and offers participants the rare opportunity to enter an actual excavation cave, moving beyond the standard trail route to experience the site's subterranean archaeology firsthand. The Sierra de Atapuerca preserves over a million years of human occupation across sites such as Gran Dolina, Sima de los Huesos, and Sima del Elefante, making it one of the most important paleoanthropological complexes in the world.

The Museo de la Evolución Humana (MEH) in Burgos, Spain, is Europe's only museum dedicated entirely to human evolution. Opened in 2010, its 9,000 square metres of exhibition space house the original fossil remains of Homo antecessor and the skull known as 'Miguelón' from the Sima de los Huesos, discovered at the nearby Sierra de Atapuerca archaeological sites—a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The museum forms part of the Sistema Atapuerca together with the archaeological sites and the Centro de Arqueología Experimental (CAREX), offering guided visits, educational programs, and a gateway to one of the most important paleoanthropological complexes in the world.
