Thea Applebaum Licht is a writer and researcher based in Boston, Massachusetts. She studies the history of science as a PhD student in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s History, Anthropology, and Science, Technology, and Society (HASTS) program and received her BA in history and Germanic studies, with a minor in biological sciences, from the University of Chicago. Prior to joining HASTS, Thea worked as an analyst for a life sciences strategy consulting firm. Aside from her studies, she is an assistant editor at the Public Domain Review.
