Thai Iced Tea (Cha Yen)

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp Thai tea leaves (or strong black tea)
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 tbsp evaporated milk
  • ice

Method

  1. Steeping — Steep tea in boiling water 5 min; strain.
  2. Stirring — Stir in sugar while hot; cool.
  3. Filling — Fill glass with ice; pour tea over.
  4. Step 4 — Spoon condensed milk then evaporated milk on top.
  5. Stirring — Stir before drinking for full creamy-sweet effect.
