Ingredients

  • 50g mauby bark
  • 1.5L water
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 3 star anise
  • 6 cloves
  • 200g sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Method

  1. Boiling — Boil mauby bark with spices 20 min.
  2. Straining — Strain, add sugar and vanilla. Cool completely.
  3. Bottling — Bottle and refrigerate overnight — develops pleasantly bitter flavor.
