Figen Kıyak is a professional translator, editor, and researcher whose work has focused on political and social issues. She is a contributor to the Human Bridges project. She completed her bachelor’s degree in sociology and her master’s degree in Eurasian studies, both at Middle East Technical University, Turkey. Her research focuses on democratization and autocratization processes, especially in post-Soviet countries.
