Other Ways to Donate
The Observatory is a tax-exempt, nonprofit organization funded entirely through individual donations and grants from foundations.
There are a number of ways to contribute: from donating money, to equipment, used or new computers, and your time as a volunteer.
The Observatory is an initiative of the Independent Media Institute, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. You can make a tax-deductible donation in the following ways:

Volunteer either at our office or from your home. We always need help with our administrative, outreach, and even editorial efforts.
The Observatory is looking for 2020 or later model Mac computers in good working condition for workstations for our editors, volunteers, researchers, and other staff: Mac computers, including Mac Minis, MacBook Pros, MacBook Airs, MacBooks, and iMacs. We’re also looking for widescreen (19-inch or larger) LCD monitors, digital video cameras, plasma flat-screens, and quality microphones, as well as data subscription services. Many companies offer matching-gift programs for their employees. If your company does have such a program, please register your donation to us with them so they can match it.
You might consider donating assets to the Observatory. Let us know and we can help.
