Join the British Museum Youth Collective for a magical evening exploring myths from across the globe.
Myths have helped humans understand our world for millennia. Whether the tragic tale of Orpheus and Eurydice, Gilgamesh's epic quest for immortality, Rama's experiences in exile or the origins of the moon goddess Chang'e, these stories have shaped civilizations from China to Greece and have been told from generation to generation. They have been turned into books, plays, dances, films and more.
This event will delve into these tales through performances, trails and craft activities. You'll be able to share myths that have been important to you on our mythology map, join a tour led by some of the Youth Collective, and take part in tile-painting and amulet keychain-making to create your own myth-inspired art.Participants
