An annual flintknapping gathering hosted by the Center for American Archeology at the McCully Heritage Project in Kampsville, Illinois. Knappers of all skill levels come together for a day of demonstrations, hands-on instruction, and fellowship centered on the ancient craft of stone tool making. The event is part of the CAA's broader programme of workshops that also includes wild clay and kiln building, drawing on over seventy years of archaeological education and outreach.
