Meet Dr. Almira Astudillo Gilles, Research Associate, and Jamie Kelly, McCarter Collections Manager of Anthropology at the Field Museum, as they showcase curated objects from the museum’s Philippine collection and present highlights of Dr Gilles’ recent ethnoastronomy research in the Philippines.
Learn about alternative perspectives to Western astronomy and how other cultures still use celestial objects for navigation, agriculture, and home practices today.
