The primary aim of these workshops is to complement traditional (text-based) publication forums by promoting and refining multimodal outputs, while fostering collaboration across the School of Culture and Society.
We seek to engage in anthropology and cultural studies otherwise – to borrow a frequently cited phrase that is rarely put into practice – by particularly welcoming experimentation with image, sound, creative writing, and sensory media.Agenda
For our inaugural session, anthropologist Marie Odgaard, returning from the University of Toronto, will lead the workshop exploring playfulness in life and praxis with a particular focus on creating and being attuned to in-between spaces.
