An open lecture at the University of Copenhagen featuring four researchers from Uppsala University — Neil Price, Charlotte Hedenstierna-Jonson, John Ljungkvist, and Sophie Bønding — presenting the Uppsala Research Centre for the World in the Viking Age. The speakers introduce the new six-year project 'The Vikings in Asia,' funded by Riksbankens Jubileumsfond, which aims to transform understanding of Norse activity along overland and maritime Silk Roads and the Asian frontiers of the Viking diaspora. The event is held at South Campus and followed by a reception at the UCPH School of Archaeology.
