This fall, the Center for Collaborative Synthesis in Archaeology at Kiel University, in partnership with the Department of Coevolution of Land Use and Urbanisation at the Max Planck Institute of Geoanthropology, will host an international workshop on Urban Adaptation to Environmental Change. The event will bring together a diverse network of scholars focused on long-term urban resilience and the ways ancient cities responded to environmental challenges.
