The precession of the equinoxes, according to Wikipedia, is about 25,772 years, half of which is 12,886; shouldn’t Socrates’s number be 12,960, not 12,960,000? (But the following sentence would need the number to be in the millions.) Perhaps it should be “half 100 times the precession of equinoxes” instead?
