Ellen Feld is a seasoned writer, editor, and educator with decades of experience in grammar instruction, content development, and editorial services. She is the author of Comma Sense: Your Guide to Grammar Victory and the creator of Grammar Lion, where she designs and teaches popular online grammar courses.

Feldʼs editorial work spans developmental editing, copy editing, and proofreading across a variety of genres, including nonfiction, fantasy, children’s books, and business writing. She has worked with private clients and publishers such as Callisto Media, focusing on topics ranging from meditation and education to well-being and therapy.

With a background in journalism and a strong foundation in higher education—including an M.A. in Writing from Johns Hopkins University—she has also taught English composition and writing courses at colleges and through continuing education programs.
