HEIRS is the hub for Human Evolution Research Synthesis, a unit of the research environment of ICArEHB – the Interdisciplinary Center for Archaeology and Evolution of Human Behaviour, hosted at the University of Algarve.
The HEIRS initiative comes from the enthusiasm of combining different scientific visions, integrating large datasets, and challenging global theories to reshape our understanding of human evolution. HEIRS is the priviledged place to foster synthesis, both at local or global scales, to decipher our past.
