As human-driven climate change fuels the spread of wildfires worldwide, it becomes increasingly urgent to ask how our species evolved under the haze of air pollution and what that history can reveal about an increasingly polluted future.
Come and meet biological anthropologist Corrin Laposki and investigate the traces the kinds of smoke and airborne hazards our ancestors encountered across time and place and highlight recent findings showing how modern humans and Neandertals differ in their immune responses to wood smoke exposure.Key Speaker: Corrin Laposki
