- Ingredients
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 2 c. white sugar
- 1 c. milk or cream
- ¼ lb. (1 c.) stoned dates
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1 tbsp. glucose or honey
- 1 tbsp. lemon extract
- 1 tbsp. vanilla extract
- Speck salt
- Directions
1.
Put sugar, butter, milk and glucose into sauce-pan.

Boil slowly to soft ball or 236°F.
3.
Remove from fire and add extracts.
4.
When cool beat until creamy.
5.
Add chopped dates.
6.
Pour into greased tins.
