Candied Orange Peel

- Peel of 6 oranges
- 3 c. sugar
- 1 c. water
- Directions

Peel 6 oranges.

Cover the orange peels with cold water, bring to a boil, then change the water and boil again until tender.

Drain thoroughly.

Remove excess white pith from the peel using a spoon, then cut the peel into strips with scissors.
5.
Boil 2 cups sugar and 1 cups water together until the mixture threads.
6.
Add the orange peel to the syrup and let it boil until the syrup is completely boiled away, watching carefully.
7.
Add 1 cup sugar and stir the peel with a fork until it crystallizes.
8.
Spread the crystallized orange peel on wax paper to dry.
