Ingredients
  • ½ c. cold water
  • 3 tbsp. gelatine
Directions
1.
Let stand till water is absorbed.
2.
Pour ½ c. cold water over 2 c. granulated sugar.
3.
Heat to the boiling point.
4.
Add gelatine and cook twelve minutes after boiling begins.
5.
Stir constantly, since it burns easily.
6.
Remove from fire and add 2 tbsp. lemon juice and 4 tbsp. water.
7.
Flavor with peppermint or other flavoring and color green.
8.
Pour ⅜ inch deep into a wet pan.
9.
Cut and roll in granulated sugar just before ready to serve.
