Candy Cake

- Ingredients
- 1 c. light brown sugar
- 1 c. dark brown sugar
- ½ c. flour
- ⅓ tsp. salt
- 1 c. raisins
- 1 lb. walnuts weighed in shell
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 2 eggs
- Directions
- Mix well.
- Line a cake pan with heavy paper. Grease and flour this.
- Pour in the cake batter and bake very slowly, since it burns easily.
- Cut in squares.
- Remarks
This is a good candy substitute for an afternoon or evening party.
