- Ingredients
- 1¼ c. brown sugar
- ¼ c. white sugar
- ⅓ c. water
- 2 eggs
- Directions
- Boil first three to thread.
- Pour gradually over the whites of two eggs beaten stiff.
- Beat till luke warm.
- Set back on stove in a pan of boiling water and boil till it becomes granular around the edge.
- Remove and heat till it holds its shape.
- Add ⅓ c. walnuts and 1 tsp. vanilla. Pour over cake using back of spoon and try to get a rough surface.
