Rick Kelaher, MS, is a graduate fellow at PAN Works as well as an animal-human historian and anthrozoologist. His research has focused on felis catus and the 19th-century animal protection movement. Holding a BA in archaeology and an MSc in anthrozoology, Rick believes that by considering the historic and cultural dimensions of animals, humans can learn to relate to them as fellow beings.
