Introduction
Located high in the Wyoming mountains, the Bighorn Medicine Wheel is a stone structure whose spokes align with the rising and setting of the sun and stars during the solstice. It served as a sacred site for diverse indigenous groups for centuries, functioning as a high-altitude observatory and ritual center. This celestial architecture provided a spiritual and practical connection to the cosmos.
